Quail Creek Country Club is a prestigious member-owned Club that holds a rich history as one of the earliest established clubs in Naples. As part of a renovation process that included updates to the Club's facilities and clubhouse, the club recognized the need for a fresh and contemporary rebranding effort. The existing logo, depicting a traditional image of a quail, no longer reflected the club's aspirations for a modern and sophisticated identity.

Problem Scope:

The project involved creating a new logo that would encapsulate the essence of Quail Creek Country Club's legacy while also conveying its transformation into a modern and upscale establishment. The primary goal was to design a logo that resonated with the target audience – both long-standing members and potential new members – while elevating the club's brand image.

Design Process:

Discovery and Research:

  • Thorough research was conducted to understand the history, values, and aspirations of Quail Creek Country Club. The design team also analyzed the club's competition and contemporary design trends in the hospitality and luxury sectors.

Conceptualization:

  • The team brainstormed and sketched initial ideas based on the brief, seeking to blend elements of tradition with modernity. Inspiration was drawn from the letter "Q" and the distinctive shape of a quail.

Sketching and Ideation:

  • Multiple sketches were created to visualize different design directions. The goal was to create designs that were simple, classy, and ultra-modern, and that could represent both the quail and the legacy of the club.

Logo Iterations:
